Assandun Vikings Have New Ground

Assandun Vikings have advised the league that they have a new home ground. They will now play their home matches at Hullbridge Sports & Social Club, Lower Road, Hullbridge SS5 6BJ.

FA Womens Cup Draw Announced

The FA Womens Cup First and Second Qualifying Rounds draws haves been released and the full draw can be viewed at the the FA website

The Competition will commence with 47 First Round Qualifying ties on Sunday 3 October 2010 as the Preliminary Round is no longer required.

Only two of our clubs are involved, Colchester Town travelling to last seasons Champions, C&K Basildon while Runwell Hospital entertain Eastern Region League side Barking. If successful, both teams are scheduled to meet in the next round.

Essex County Women's Cup Released

The Essex County FA Womens Cup draw embargo has now passed and we can release the draw for Round 1 and Round 2 of this years competition. We are already assured of at least two teams in the Quarter Finals after two all County League affairs in both Rounds. The full draw is as follows: Essex County Cup draw

Fixtures Loaded on Fixtures Page

The fixtures for the first few weeks have now been loaded on the fixtures page which also has a new feature. It also shows the venue of the fixture with a link to a map.

Essex County Women's Cup

The Essex County FA have sent us a copy of the Essex County Women's Cup draw and they have placed an embargo on them being published until 02 August 2010. Accordingly the draw will be available on this site after 13:00 hours on that date.

4-7-10 AGM REPORT

The league A.G.M. took place on Monday 28 June 2010 at Chelmsford City FC.

Three new teams were elected to the league:- Loughton, FC Clacton Reserves and Hutton Reserves.

West Bergholt have changed their name to Colchester Town while Boca have left the league as well as Little Oakley and Foxash withdrawing from the league before the end of last season. Hutton and C&K Basildon have also moved on, accepting promotion up to the next level in the Women's Pyramid and will compete next season in the Eastern Region League.

The new constitution for 2010/11 season is available at the following link 2010_11 Constitution.

The season will start on Sunday 12 September 2010 season will finish on the last Sunday in May 2011.

Goals scored in any other competitions, including the League Cup Matches, are not included.

The goalscorers have been taken from the result sheets submitted by clubs to the Registration Secretary.
